MGM Resorts International, the global entertainment and gaming company, confirmed a groundbreaking deal by teaming up with the LSE-listed technology provider for the global gambling industry, Playtech. Announced today, the new activation sees the two leading companies team up to deliver engaging and unique live casino content to online gambling operators across the globe.

The new strategic agreement will deliver live casino content streamed directly from two of MGM Resorts’ iconic properties on the Las Vegas Strip. The content will be branded with “MGM Live” and will feature live casino games streamed from Bellagio Resort & Casino and MGM Grand.

NASDAQ and ASX-listed Light & Wonder, Inc. has announced an important exclusive aggregation deal with 1X2 Network to help the latter roll its content for the US public

According to the terms of the agreement, 1X2 Network’s games will debut for gamers in Michigan

The deal also signals an important entry for 1X2 Network into the vibrant market in the US while leveraging Light & Wonder’s premium aggregation platform.

The newly inked agreement is just one of the freshest on a long list of similar studio deals signed by Light & Wonder, further proving the strength of its leading platform and distribution network on the American market where it continues to deliver content that is both dynamic and immersive to the greatest names in the industry.

1X2 Network, Ready for Launch in the US

1X2 Network, which is well-known for its versatile content featuring crash games, slots, instant win games, and virtual sports, is getting ready to launch on the gaming scene in the US in the near future. 

Its content is a result of the hard work of its four internal studios, 1X2gaming, Iron Dog Studio, Prospect Gaming, and Ad Lunam.

The decision to enter the US market will build on a successful European alliance, proving the strength and potential of the collaboration.

1X2 Network’s chief executive officer, Kevin Reid, commented on the content expansion decision, expressing excitement for having Light & Wonder as their exclusive aggregation partner which is expected to help them extend their lucrative ties and leverage their strong platform for wider distribution.

The leading supplier of betting services catering to gambling operators across the globe, Sports Information Services (SIS), announced a new partnership, allowing it to significantly grow its horse racing offering. On Wednesday, the company released details regarding its new deal with Korea Racing Authority, growing its live racing content with the addition of premium horse racing fixtures from Korea.

Per the new agreement, SIS will gain access to more than 200 fixtures annually from Seoul as well as Busan. This will grant access to 1,800 races, significantly expanding the company’s Asian content offering. Thanks to the new collaboration, SIS will not only expand its live racing content but leverage the access to premium horse racing fixtures.

This, in turn, can help create new opportunities for the company with operators across the globe. SIS explained that the new deal with the Korea Racing Authority complements the growth of its offering. Recently, the company completed a similar expansion on an international level, bringing content from South Africa and Australia.

The latest deal comes after another important change was announced by SIS recently. At the end of 2023, the company confirmed it stepped back from its greyhound simulcast operations in the United States.

The Partnership Is Expected to Create New Betting Opportunities

SuHyeong Lee, the Korea Racing Authority’s head of international races and relations, spoke about the strong position SIS holds by offering racing content from across the globe. The head of international races and relations added that the Authority is excited to join forces with the leading supplier of betting services and content. “We firmly believe this will successfully widen the popularity of horse racing from Korea and are sure that our offering will be well received globally,” explained Lee in conclusion.

Playson, a fast-growing digital entertainment supplier operating in over 20 regulated jurisdictions, has unveiled a major new partnership agreement. As announced, Playson has agreed to supply PokerStars, a major online poker and casino operator, with content.

Under the deal, some of Playson’s biggest hits will be rolled out on the Flutter Entertainment-owned operator’s platform. At first, Playson will power PokerStars with the fan-favorite game Solar King. According to the announcement, additional hits will be launched down the line, including many of Playson’s biggest releases ever.

PokerStars players can expect games such as 3 Pots Riches: Hold and Win, Coin Strike: Hold and Win and Royal Coins 2: Hold and Win. The new games will be added to the global operator’s offerings in the United Kingdom, as well as in markets where it’s licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority.

The deal will likely be expanded to Spain and Ontario in the new feature, Playson’s official announcement added.

Playson Is Glad to Secure a Deal with another Tier-1 Operator

The deal with PokerStars is Playson’s latest tier-one partnership and reflects the latter company’s ambitious plans for 2024. The supplier plans to target expansive growth and will seek to cement its games as a “vital addition” to online casino operators across the world. To that end, it continues to innovate and recently launched the innovative Hold for Spin feature that aims to change how players interact with slots.

The agreement with PokerStars was welcomed by Blanka Homor, Playson’s sales director. She expressed her team’s excitement about the deal and praised PokerStars as a major gambling operator.

The deal will see the online casinos operated by Boyd Interactive under the Stardust brand in the United States feature both slot games and table games provided by Playtech. Live dealer games from the supplier are also included in the agreement.

The content will be rolled out in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including popular titles such as Age of the Gods, Gold Rush: Cash Collect and Adventures Beyond Wonderland, along with live casino titles such as Adventures Beyond Wonderland, along with different variants of Roulette and Baccarat.

Boyd Interactive appeared on the iGaming scene in 2022, when Boyd Gaming acquired Pala Interactive and all its subsidiaries in a deal worth 170 million dollars. After the acquisition the company was rebranded as Boyd Interactive and shortly after that it launched its Stardust online casinos in the spring of 2023.

In October 2023 Boyd Gaming announced that it had registered healthy online growth as the company’s revenue recorded an increase in the third quarter of the current year.

Expecting Mutual Success

Speaking about the partnership with Boyd Interactive, Marcus Yoder, the Chief Commercial Officer of Playtech USA, declared himself confident that the agreement would bring “mutual success” to the two companies and added that the American company has a “reputation for excellence.”

The Playtech executive added that Boyd Gaming has “expanded its long-standing tradition” on the American gambling market by launching the Stardust online casinos, which aim to deliver “unique entertainment experiences into the online space.”

Jim Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Interactive, declared himself “excited” by the addition of games from Playtech into the offerings of Stardust both in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Playtech has been gaining more and more ground on the United States market this year. In July the company formally announced its plans to launch a live casino game show broadcast from a dedicated studio in New Jersey, while in November it launched a new live casino studio in Pennsylvania.

Hacksaw Gaming has been expanding to the West as well, with the supplier securing a partnership with Betplay in Colombia in October, and deploying its award-winning and player-favorite games in the face of Wanted Dead or a Wild, Chaos Crew, or Stack’em.

The supplier has also gained a solid foothold in the United States through its license in New Jersey obtained in November. Earlier this month, Hacksaw Gaming also announced that it’s delivering on this license through a content partnership with DraftKings in the Garden State. Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC), a premium provider of iGaming content, has reinforced its existing partnership with Caesars Entertainment’s online casino division, Caesars Digital. Under the expanded agreement, DGC will inject iGaming content into the operator’s Caesars Palace Online Casino brand in Pennsylvania.

The launch comes soon after DGC supplied premium online slots to Caesars Palace Online Casino in Michigan.

Under the Pennsylvania-facing agreement, Caesars Palace Online Casino players in the state will be able to try out some of the supplier’s best games. This includes iconic titles such as Assassin Moon, Blazin Mammoth and Thunderstruck Wild Lighting, among others.

DGC has cemented itself as a “must-have” content provider for American operators thanks to its chart-topping titles. Some of its most popular hits include games like Gold Blitz, Fire and Roses Joker and Squealin’ Riches, among others. All of the provider’s games are tailored to suit the needs of the US players and are designed to exceed gamblers’ expectations.

Pennsylvanian Customers Will Get Access to New Experiences

Neill Whyte, the chief commercial officer of DGC’s B2B iGaming Division, commented on the expanded agreement with Caesars, saying that it builds on the already successful partnership between the two companies.

According to Whyte, the launch in Pennsylvania will provide local players with access to a number of great games, including Gold Blitz and Bison Moon.
