In parallel, Hornsletten will preserve his active senior position on the company’s board.

As a former chief commercial officer, he has been one of the main actors behind EveryMatrix’s commercial strategy and product development in the past decade and a half, carrying the business from a simple vision to one of the quickest-developing, most trustworthy suppliers of technology in the iGaming world. 

He has also helped attract some of the biggest brands and convinced them to integrate EveryMatrix’s state-of-the-art software and services. 

As one of the most prominent figures in the industry in the last 20 years, Hornsletten has employed his leadership skills and rich knowledge to help the company turn into a global leader in terms of tier-1 technology suppliers.

EveryMatrix, one of the world’s top suppliers of technology and games for online casinos, has announced it went live in the state of Michigan thanks to a deal with Rush Street Interactive, a leading North American online casino and sports betting operator.

The content supplied by EveryMatrix has gone live at BetRivers, the online casino operated by Rush Street Interactive in Michigan. This is the very first foray into the Great Lakes state for the supplier.

The BetRivers lobby will receive online games from Armadillo Studios, the in-house game development studio of EveryMatrix, through direct integration thanks to the SlotMatrix iGaming aggregation solution.

Rush Street Interactive had been working with EveryMatrix before, the two companies had an existing partnership for the operator’s RushBet brand which is active in the Latin American market.

EveryMatrix has licenses to supply its content in several North American markets, including New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut and Ontario in Canada. The supplier is also currently in the process of receiving a license in the American state of Pennsylvania.

A Significant iGaming State

Speaking about the Michigan launch, Erik Nyman, President of EveryMatrix Americas, described it as a “significant iGaming state” and added that he was especially delighted to be launching in this market with “valued partners” such as Rush Street Interactive.

EveryMatrix, the established iGaming and sports betting software provider, has announced the launch of Slot Trumps, a player behaviour report that can give both operators and suppliers key insights into six different markets.

The first report that the company released is focused on the Brazilian market, one that has been growing steadily over the past few years. One of the findings of the report was that players in Brazil prefer medium-to-high volatility slot games, with 56 percent most played games in this market being in this category.

Moreover, the report found that Brazilian casino players interact with challenges, tournaments and other competitions more than any other. As for game themes, 10 percent of Brazilian players prefer slot games with animals, 7 percent like fantasy games, 6 percent prefer games with fruit, while 3.6 percent go for mythology-themed games.

The 90-day study of the Brazilian market also revealed the type of features that players like to see in their favourite slot games. Surprisingly, 30 percent of the games that feature in the top 20 for the Brazilian market have no Bonus type features at all.

However, these games are so popular among players thanks to their game mechanic predictability, with most of them tending to have classic themes such as fruits and also many of them are online versions of popular land-based slot games.

Top 20 Slot Games in Brazil

EveryMatrix studied the total number of game sessions recorded in the Brazilian market and came up with a top 20 of the most popular slot games. The company pointed out that nine of the top 20 games are featured in the SlotMatrix RGS, their popular aggregation platform that is used by many online casino operators from all over the world.

The highest-ranking game is Fortune Tiger, followed by Aviator and Mines on the podium. Going further down the list we find Fairy Fantasy Exotic Wilds in fourth place, followed by Aladdin’s Rollover Respins, Panda Time, Jungle Jaguar Deluxe, Fruits and 777s, Tiki Times Exotic Wilds, while Bayou Richesse wraps up the top ten.

Between 11th and 20th place we find Joker Jewels, Fortune Ox, Gates of Olympus, Super 7 Deluxe, Sweet Bonanza , Big Bass Splash, Sugar Rush, Wolf Gold, Gem Brillante and Fortune Rabbit.

The top provider in this market is SlotMatrix RGS, followed by Pragmatic Play, PGSoft, Spribe and Evolution Gaming. Microgaming, Spinomenal, Wazdan, Playson and SmartSoft also made the top ten.

The business-to-business (B2B) iGaming technology provider, EveryMatrix, released its second quarter results, posting the seventh consecutive record quarter with an increase in profit margin and revenue. The latest financial update reveals that the company’s net revenue in Q2 this year hit €27 million ($29.4 million), marking a year-over-year growth of 82%.

Similarly, EveryMatrix’s EBITDA for the second quarter of this year soared. Judging by the recent trading update, the company posted an EBITDA of €15 million ($16.3 million). This result, when compared to the corresponding period in 2022 marked an increase of 188%.

The results represented not only an increase year-over-year but quarter-on-quarter as well. The revenue posted for the latest trading period was up 15% quarter-on-quarter while EBITDA for the second quarter increased by 42% when compared to Q1 2023.

EveryMatrix revealed that during the record-breaking quarter, all of its business segments saw exceptional results and growth. This includes its Casino, Sports and Platform, reaffirming their success, potential and growing position within the global gambling sector.

A breakdown provided by EveryMatrix revealed that its Casino net revenue in Q2 this year hit €12.6 million ($13.7 million), up by 83% when compared to the same period last year. Similarly, the company’s Platform business saw a year-over-year net revenue increase of 85%. Additionally, EveryMatrix’s Sports business arm posted gross gaming revenue of €57 million ($62.1 million), an increase of 137% year-over-year.

Between 2018 and July 2022, the platform saw significant growth from 1 billion casino game rounds to 2 billion rounds. However, since then, which was less than a year ago, or 11 months, the casino game rounds for its platform soared to 4 billion.

Judging by the recent update released by EveryMatrix, its monthly gross gaming revenue (GGR) saw an increase of 50% in the last eight months. The B2B technology provider confirmed that this growth was the result of CasinoEngine’s “exceptional performance driving continuous growth among tier-1 clients.”

A comparison of GGR shows that in June 2020, it was €55 million ($59.6 million). Then, in November last year, it soared to €100 million ($108.5 million), while finally, last month, it surpassed €150 million ($162.7 million). EveryMatrix’s latest report reveals that the platform’s monthly casino turnover skyrocketed as well. Back in May 2021, the platform’s turnover hit €2 billion ($2.2 billion), marking a record at the time. Then, in less than a year, in February 2023, it increased to €3 billion ($3.3 billion).
