Polish sports data company STATSCORE announced that it is now offering in-depth player analytics for many of Europe’s top-flight soccer leagues, including LaLiga, Bundesliga and Serie A, among others.

The launch of these new analytics aligns with STATSCORE’s commitment to providing a 360-degree view of soccer games and constantly enhancing the data delivered to its partners.

According to STATSCORE’s announcement, in-depth player live data and statistics will be available in the company’s ScoutsFeed and SportsAPI products. The data company listed the full number of soccer leagues it will be offering in-depth player analytics for, which include the following:

• UEFA Champions League
• Europe League
• LaLiga
• Bundesliga
• Serie A
• French Ligue 1
• Süper Lig
• Super League 1

Thanks to the new launch, STATSCORE will now offer coverage of key player incidents, such as goals, penalties and shots. This will provide fans with a unique perspective on the sports action, bolstering their engagement.

The New Data Will Benefit Sportsbooks

Player information will include real-time data on aspects like the ways in which a goal is scored. This, for example, will include left foot/right foot, header, scored within the penalty area or outside and specific part of the net in which the ball was hit.

STATSCORE announced that it has applied the same approach to incidents. As a result, STATSCORE clients will be able to provide their players with information on when and how a penalty was scored, saved or missed.

STATSCORE added that the in-depth player data will help betting operators and other sports-oriented businesses engage their players and provide them with detailed information they care about.

According to the Polish data specialist, the new datasets will allow sports and sports betting aficionados to “delve deeper into the statistics that define the game.”

This type of data provides an opportunity to craft brand-new betting options that would appeal to a diverse range of betting enthusiasts. It’s no longer just about predicting the outcome of a match – it’s about predicting specific aspects of player performance!

Global sports & culture company IMG has extended its exclusive international media, data and streaming rights partnership agreement with the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Under the extended partnership, IMG will distribute APL media rights for several more years.

The partnership extension will allow the sports specialist to manage APL’s media rights in international markets, excluding Australia and New Zealand. At the same time, IMG’s IMG ARENA brand will record and provide official data from all APL matches over, supplying it to its extensive network of partnering sports betting operators.

The renewed contract covers both ALP’s men’s and women’s teams, allowing the APL to grow its presence. The league explained that the partnership with IMG will help it “drive audience and commercial growth” for some of the most highly-anticipated events of the seasons.

More Soccer, More Goals and More Stories for Fans

A-Leagues commissioner Nick Garcia commented on the extension of APL’s partnership with IMG, highlighting its potential to promote Australian and New Zealander soccer.  Garcia said that his team is looking forward to continuing the partnership with IMG, tapping into the global sports company’s extensive expertise in sports and benefitting from its expansive global network.

Garcia added that the A-Leagues are home to a variety of international soccer talents. He noted:

With three new women’s teams in the A-League Women, and two men’s teams to come to the A-League Men, we have more football, more goals, and more stories for fans to connect with.

In the meantime, Dale Levin, senior vice president and head of Australasia and Southeast Asia for IMG’s media business, also commented on the matter. He said that his team is very proud of its lasting relationship with the Australian Professional Leagues. According to Levin, the partnership has allowed the leagues to grow significantly over the past six years.

Earlier this year, IMG ARENA expanded its partnership with Major League Soccer, agreeing to supply tracking data for MLS Next Pro, a major soccer league in the United States and Canada.

In April, IMG ARENA also wrapped up its acquisition of the high-end virtual games provider Leap Gaming. The deal was officially announced in December 2022 and allows IMG ARENA to enhance its offering. IMG ARENA president Freddie Longe remarked that the acquisition will allow his company to “shape the future of sports betting entertainment.”

Stats Perform, a sports data and analytics company, has become the official data partner of two Swedish soccer leagues. As agreed with the Swiss Football League (SFL), the company will form an alliance with the Credit Suisse Super League and the Dieci Challenge League.

The agreement will allow Stats Perform to use official SFL data, enhance fan experiences for fans of the leagues and attract new sponsors. According to the official release, the SFL selected Stats Perform as the data partner for the two leagues in order to bolster fan experiences with “comprehensive, deep, real-time accurate statistics and insights,” instead of basic stats.

As a result, Stats Perform will leverage its Opta soccer API to deliver the depth required by the SFL. The company’s tools will be instrumental in creating compelling coverage of the two leagues’ teams and players.

The Swiss Football League official data rights are a part of Stats Perform’s extensive official data portfolio, which encompasses many European top-flight leagues, such as the EPL, LaLiga, Ligue1, Serie A and the Bundesliga, among others.

The data deal with the SFL follows agreements with other sports organizations, such as the USL in the USA and the Liga FUTVE in Venezuela.
