REEVO, the powerful international iGaming aggregation platform, has announced the signing of a groundbreaking partnership agreement with Rival, one of the world’s top suppliers of casino games.

The strategic partnership between these two powerful players can be regarded as a significant milestone as the over 180 casino games supplied by Rival will be aggregated into the already exceptional platform developed by REEVO.

The aggregator currently has over 80 different partners on board, online casinos which offer their players the content supplied by the aggregation platform. Speaking of content, REEVO currently has over 8,000 games in its offering, from slots and table games to crash games and live dealer games. The company also creates its own gaming content, with a long list of proprietary games in its portfolio, and generally launches at least two new titles every month.

Moreover, REEVO has set a very ambitious target for 2024: getting 60 new casino game providers to join the aggregation platform. Rival has become one of these 60, but the brand means much more than a number because it has been on the market for almost 20 years now. Rival has also secured partnerships with some of the biggest names in the industry, including BetConstruct and LuckyStreak. The supplier also offers software platforms for online casinos, complete with third party integrations and proprietary live chat solutions.

Exciting Partnership

Speaking about the partnership with REEVO, Glen Bullen, Chief Executive Officer of Rival Powered, described it as “exciting” and added that his company’s goal over the past 20 years has been to develop “games that are both immediate and long-term player favorites in markets around the world.”

The Rival Powered CEO explained that REEVO’s “commitment to delivering excellence in product and service aligns perfectly” with his company’s focus. “I foresee great things ahead for this partnership,” Glen Bullen concluded.

Petra Maria Poola, Head of Sales at REEVO, declared herself “thrilled” to start collaborating with Rival, a company that she described as “a reputable force in the industry” thanks to its “unwavering commitment to player-centric game development.” The REEVO executive added that this strategic partnership gives both companies a chance to “set new industry standards together.”

Nassau County officials have leveled accusations against Hofstra University, alleging that the institution is colluding with a competitor to sabotage the Nassau Coliseum casino bid. 

Nassau County Executive Reveals Troubling Evidence of Hofstra’s Role in Casino Project Controversy

Nassau County Executive, Bruce Blakeman, held a press conference on January 17, revealing that there is evidence suggesting Hofstra’s collaboration with Hard Rock International, a key player in the bid to establish a casino in the Citi Field parking lots. 

Blakeman cited a Newsday column, highlighting an email from a consultant to Steve Cohen’s bid office, indicating potential communication with Hofstra.

Blakeman expressed his deep concern, stating that they found the situation very troubling and hypocritical. He went on to suggest that there might be collusion or coordination on the part of Hofstra with another entity against the Nassau Coliseum bid, thus exacerbating the already contentious conflict.

To reinforce their allegations, Nassau County issued subpoenas to Hofstra, demanding documents related to any communication with Hard Rock Seminole regarding the casino project. The subpoenas, served by the county sheriff’s office, underscore the seriousness of the allegations.

Hofstra President Summoned as Nassau Coliseum Bid Hangs in the Balance

Hofstra University President, Susan Poser, has been summoned to testify before the county Legislature on Monday. In a statement, the university mentioned that they would adhere to the law in responding to the subpoena, while also dismissing it as another attempt to divert attention and hinder a fair and open process concerning the transfer of Nassau County land.

The Nassau Coliseum bid, potentially facing demolition to make way for the casino, has been entangled in legal battles, with Hofstra filing a lawsuit last April to block the project. A judge sided with Hofstra, nullifying the 99-year lease agreement, leaving the casino bid in limbo. Nassau County has since appealed the decision.

Amidst the allegations, Hard Rock International swiftly denied any communication with Hofstra related to Nassau. Jonathan Goldman, a spokesperson for Hard Rock, emphasized the company’s commitment to “integrity, honesty, and transparency.”

The casino competition in New York has intensified, with developers vying for three $500 million downstate casino licenses. The Nassau and Queens bids are seen as strong contenders, benefitting from less congested locations compared to proposals targeting Manhattan.Last week S&P Global Ratings warned operators of significant financial risks, citing potential licensing fees as high as $1 billion each. Major players like MGM Resorts International, Las Vegas Sands, and Wynn Resorts are vying for the licenses, with proposed projects ranging from $2 billion to over $5 billion. Despite the financial challenges, experts see a strategic long-term gain for victorious operators, although the timeline for developments may extend into 2025.

As a result, he is moving to greener pastures with Kick offering a better split and overall presence in the streaming space. xQc is joining to promote the type of content which he likes best, which includes online gambling, and admittedly get a better rate. 

His decision to join Kick is also incentivized by a $100 million price tag on the deal, which will last for two years. He has become the latest topflight streamer to disembark from Twitch, accusing the platform of ham-fisted policies and double standards.

Kick Beckons to Twitch’s Top-Performing Streamers 

As such, xQc is joining fellow content creators Amouranth and Trainwrecks who too made the switch to Kick recently. Kick is a brand new entry into the streaming space and one that is making very fast gains. The platform is a collaboration between Easygo Gaming and Stake.com, two online gambling companies, along with other partners.

Presently, Kick offers a massive 95% share split with content creators, which puts it well ahead of Twitch’s models. Some critics have said that Kick is focused on short-term customer acquisition but fails to properly communicate how it’s going to be profitable in the future or if it’s profitable even now.

Kick is openly burning through money to acquire some of the biggest streaming talents, but also maintaining a very strong focus on online gambling. xQc is not the best example of a gambling streamer, as he originally played League of Legends and Overwatch, before making the switch to online gambling.

A Firebrand Personality from the Very Get-Go

xQc briefly played at Dallas Fuel, an Overwatch League franchise, but was released over a series of offensive comments. He then embarked on exploring other forms of content, which is how gambling came into his sights. In a single year, he managed to lose $1.8 million, something he admitted himself.

However, the streamer remained fond of gambling and was unapologetic about confronted how he ended up promoting gambling content to all sorts of viewers who come to Twitch to escape gambling ads. 

Ultimately, xQc said that it was his stream and down to him to enjoy his favorite type of content. He called out Twitch on its ill-defined ban on gambling content while still letting some stars get away with promoting gambling. On June 16, xQc wrote that “the time has come” and revealed that he was joining Kick.
