Velvix, a leading slot machine manufacturer, has inked a deal with ODDSworks, a North American remote gaming server technology and interactive content provider. The collaboration aims to bring Velvix’s renowned land-based slot games into the digital realm, with a primary focus on key North American markets.

The partnership will kick off with the introduction of six captivating games, spearheaded by the much-anticipated launch title, ‘Forgotten Treasures.’ This announcement comes on the heels of ‘Forgotten Treasures’ being shortlisted for Slot of the Year 2023 at the prestigious Global Gaming Awards, a recognition unveiled at this year’s G2E 2023 event in Las Vegas.

Cyrus San, general manager and executive producer of Velvix, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing ODDSworks’ agility and decades-long experience in the gaming industry. The initial focus of this collaboration will be on key North American markets, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Quebec. As the partnership gains traction, Velvix and ODDSworks have ambitious plans for expansion into Ontario, Mexico, and Columbia, tapping into the burgeoning online gaming demand in these regions.

In May, Velvix actively pursued the Asian market, particularly Vietnam and the Philippines, as part of its strategic expansion. Collaborating with Jade Gaming in the Philippines, Velvix aimed to leverage its success in North America and plans to launch an initial product catalog in June, signaling a broader push into the rapidly growing Asian gaming market.

Velvix also recently entered the California gaming scene through a partnership with Chicken Ranch Casino in Jamestown, introducing its titles West Wanted and Battle Mania to the venue. Velvix, a company that seeks to revolutionize the gaming industry by creating cutting-edge slot machines, has made a foray into California. As announced by the company, two new slot machine titles will be available to customers of Chicken Ranch Casino in Jamestown.

Chicken Ranch Casino is a property that describes itself as “a tiny bit weird, a whole lot of fun.” Thanks to its new agreement with Velvix, the casino will adopt the developer’s West Wanted and Battle Mania games. These are notably the first Velvix titles to be featured at the venue.

Velvix’s West Wanted title will suit Chicken Ranch Casino, considering the latter’s proximity to gold rush towns. The game puts players in the Wild West and engages them with atmospheric music and engaging cowboy-themed gameplay. The machine features exciting mechanics such as the Endless Jackpot Wheel Feature which will keep players at the edge of their seats.

Battle Mania, on the other hand, is a game inspired by old school arcade fighting games. It puts players in the shoes of a character called “The Bull,” doing battle with various bosses to collect credits.

Velvix’s content has been quickly gaining traction in multiple jurisdictions, such as Oklahoma and California. The company’s latest deal with the Californian casino comes a year before the opening of a large-scale resort that will be operated by the casino’s ownership tribe. The location is strategically situated between Modesto and Yosemite National Park, making it a perfect destination for tourists.

Chicken Ranch Casino’s director of gaming, Christoph Phipps, commented on the agreement with Velvix, saying that the deal has been a no-brainer. He said that the casino’s team was immediately drawn to Velvix’s game teams, which are well-suited for the property.

They [the games] speak to our audience and our location very well. We are excited to build a relationship with a new manufacturer, especially as we look to launch our new resort in 2024.

The company has teamed up with Jade Gaming, a company operating out of the Philippines. This deal is now part of Velvix’s overall strategy to grow its presence in the country’s market, but also expand to Vietnam.

Velvix is seeing the two countries as an important part of its Asian pivot after the company managed to gain a strong footprint in the United States and is likely to continue growing there. An initial product catalog is expected to go live in June, with further expansions to come over the next months.

Commenting on the company’s current plans and successes, Velvix VP Amy Jiang said that the North American success gives the company a strong reason to believe that the same business strategies can be levied in Asia, particularly in the Philippines and Vietnam:

Velvix is serious about the future of its products and gaming machines, with the company already operating a research and development office in Sydney, Australia. Velvix focuses on different products, investing in both Class III slot machine titles that come as linked progressive and standalone game variations.

Innovative Developer Committed to Expanding Its Global Presence

For the time being, Velvix remains an up-and-coming company that is focused on expanding its reach across new jurisdictions rapidly. The company attended the IGA 2023 show in San Diego, California, with the team on the ground and looking to analyze and secure new business opportunities.

The company has also expanded its fleet of games at a good clip, announcing innovative products such as a Keno-themed slot back in March. Velvix holds certifications from BMM and international regulators, demonstrating its commitment to creating products that meet industry standards at the highest level.
