Scientific Games, a leading provider of lottery products and solutions, has announced that it has won two 2023 Communitas Awards for excellence in social responsibility. The awards are a testament to the company’s dedication to environmental and ethical responsibility, as well as to its commitment to protecting players from harm.
The first award Scientific Games earned is the 2023 Communitas Leadership in Ethical and Environmental Responsibility Award which cements the provider as a company with high ethical standards in its social, economic and environmental activities. These activities, Scientific Games noted, include stringent game security protocols to inclusive hiring practices and sustainable production methods.
The second award Scientific Games grabbed is the 2023 Communitas Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility for Responsible Gaming. The second award is a recognition of the supplier’s Healthy Play program and 2022 National Responsible Gaming Study.
Scientific Games is notably the first lottery provider to earn certifications in Quality Management, Information Security and Anti-Bribery from the International Standards Organization, cementing it as a company with a strong ethical sense that seeks to develop a sustainable business in the 130 jurisdictions it serves. The company also boasts a Responsible Gaming Supplier Certification from the World Lottery Association.
The Communitas Awards represent an international effort to recognize individuals, organizations and businesses with outstandingly unselfish business practices.
