Hosted by AS.TRO, the ADI Concessionaires Section of Confindustria SIT, the event will take place at the prestigious Adnkronos Information Palace, situated in the heart of the city.

This conference will act as a pivotal moment for the Italian gaming sector, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the pressing issues surrounding the industry’s future. The event will explore the current state and trajectory of Italy’s public gaming sector, particularly focusing on land-based operations and amusement machines. With a theme centered around a transparent, regulated market, stable legislation, and a future fueled by innovation, this gathering aims to offer clarity on how the sector can move forward.

Italy’s Remote Gambling Licensing Reform Advances With 46 Operators Approved

As part of Italy’s ongoing efforts to modernize its gambling regulations, the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) has announced that 46 operators have successfully passed the initial phase of its revamped remote gambling licensing process. This is a significant milestone in Italy’s regulatory overhaul, which aims to strengthen compliance measures, enhance digital security standards, and increase market transparency.

The next phase of this reform requires operators to submit detailed documentation to ADM by 6 August 2025, and pay the first part of the €4 million one-time licensing fee. These changes reflect the Italian government’s commitment to creating a safer, more regulated gambling environment. Additionally, operators must integrate their systems with the ADM’s new central platform, which is expected to be fully operational by March 2026.

Italy’s Public Gaming Revenues Continue to Show Stable Growth in 2025

Italy’s public gaming sector is demonstrating resilience in 2025, as it continues to contribute significantly to the national economy. In the first four months of 2025,Italy’s public gaming revenues reached €2.36 billion, a 1.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The growing role of online gambling platforms is credited with enhancing regulatory compliance and improving tax collection efficiency.

This continued growth reflects the digital shift within the industry, especially in southern regions like Sicily, where online gambling now accounts for over 70% of total gambling activity. These trends underscore the importance of maintaining a balanced approach to online and land-based gaming, ensuring that both contribute to the nation’s fiscal health.

Italy Enacts Strict Measures to Combat Match-Fixing in Sports

In response to therising threat of match-fixing, Italy has enacted a comprehensive legal overhaul under the Decreto Sport. This legislation introduces new measures aimed at curbing manipulation in sports and safeguarding the integrity of sports betting.

Key provisions include a legal obligation for authorities to report irregular betting activities to the General Prosecutor’s Office for Sport, enabling swift investigations into potentially compromised matches. With a focus on transparency, the Decreto Sport also aims to protect legal operators and ensure that Italy’s sports sector remains free from criminal infiltration.

As match-fixing becomes an increasingly prominent issue, these reforms aim to strengthen Italy’s sports integrity while fostering a cleaner, more regulated gambling market. The government’s focus on transparency and the role of legal betting in safeguarding sports fairness highlights the importance of maintaining trust in the sector.

Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
