PG-Soft-confirmed-as-key-sponsor-for-ICE-Barcelona-2026ICE Barcelona 2026 will feature PG Soft as a principal supporter of the exhibition, marking another step in the company’s global positioning within the mobile gaming sector. The event will run from January 19–21 at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, bringing together international stakeholders from across the gaming ecosystem.

Expanded Visibility at ICE Barcelona

The sponsorship grants PG Soft extensive brand exposure throughout the venue. Attendees entering the outdoor access to Hall 1 will encounter PG Soft banners, and a custom arch installation will frame the main entrance. Further branding will be present at the indoor exit of Hall 1. This arrangement ensures the company is one of the first brands visible upon arrival and among the final impressions as visitors leave the hall.

ICE Barcelona 2026 will host more than 600 exhibitors and welcomes an audience exceeding 65,000 visitors from 186 countries. The show has cemented itself as a space for commercial ties, emerging technologies, and sector knowledge, featuring product demonstrations, discussions, and sessions focused on topics such as player engagement and sustainability.

A spokesperson noted the significance of the arrangement, stating:
“ICE Barcelona is one of the most important dates in the global gaming calendar, bringing together the industry’s most influential stakeholders under one roof. We’re proud to be a key sponsor of ICE 2026 and to showcase PG Soft’s brand at such a pivotal event for innovation, collaboration, and the future of gaming.”

Forbidden Alchemy Arrives With Inventive Mechanics

The sponsorship announcement follows the reveal of PG Soft’s newest release, Forbidden Alchemy, introduced on January 13. The game adopts a 5-reel, 3-row format and is set in a dim alchemist’s laboratory among glowing glass jars, arcane symbols, and assorted ingredients. A low-frequency soundtrack builds tension throughout gameplay, maintaining a sense of mystery as spins progress.

Central to the main game is the Wild Transformation feature. During this sequence, one or more high-value symbols can be selected at random and converted into Wild symbols. Each transformed symbol increases a multiplier displayed above the reels, with the total multiplier applied to all resulting wins once the feature finishes.

The Free Spins feature activates when three scientist Scatter symbols land on the reels, awarding 12 free spins. Four Scatters grant 15 free spins and five Scatters award 20 free spins. Multipliers accumulated through the Wild Transformation feature remain active for the duration of the bonus round, and when the feature triggers on a winning free spin, payouts are multiplied by the aggregate active multipliers. Landing two Scatter symbols during Free Spins grants an additional three free spins, and the feature can fully retrigger.

PG Soft’s spokesperson commented:

“Forbidden Alchemy blends together inventive mechanics, big win potential, and striking graphics, all set against the backdrop of a shadowy laboratory. The Wild Transformation delivers a powerful element of tension and excitement, making it a game to suit all players’ tastes.”

Reinforcing Presence in Mobile-First Gaming

The combination of the ICE Barcelona sponsorship and the introduction of Forbidden Alchemy aligns with PG Soft’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its profile within international mobile gaming markets. The company has pursued continued recognition in mobile-first development, and its upcoming visibility at ICE Barcelona places it directly in front of industry participants, platform operators, and content distributors.
