The multi-year agreement will allow the Ponce-based casino to harness IGT PlaySports’ premium technology and trading advisory services to power PlayBets by Ponce Plaza, the pioneer casino brand-led retail and mobile sportsbook.

Ponce Plaza Hotel & Casino’s general manager, Ramon Muñoz, took the opportunity to praise IGT as their “valued” supplier of gaming equipment in the past few years while expressing their thrill for extending their “strategic alliance” with the launch of the up-and-coming sportsbook powered by IGT PlaySports.
Muñoz also mentioned the way Ponce Plaza Hotel & Casino has successfully catered to the needs of the local community since 2008 while expressing pride for becoming the first operator in Puerto Rico to manage and operate its own sportsbook.
