Right — been on this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever figure out what an ew payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and you get returns straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. One thing that actually shifted things for me were the geekier extras. There’s an odds-to-probability calculator that shows what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.
It’s not perfect mind. The design looks a bit basic — not much flash, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it works though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.
Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
