Playson has appointed long-serving executive Denys Koshel as its first Vice President of Commercial Partnerships, creating a new leadership position intended to bring key areas of the supplier’s commercial operations under a single function.
Koshel will report directly to Chief Commercial Officer Ben Wood. The position combines responsibility for account management with leadership of emerging markets, giving Playson a more centralized structure for supporting operator partners across its international business.
The supplier said the organizational change aims to improve consistency in its commercial relationships while supporting quicker decisions and closer coordination of campaigns. Playson also plans to use market data more extensively when developing recommendations for individual partners.
Koshel steps into the role after nearly 11 years with the company. He most recently worked as Head of Emerging Markets and previously held other commercially focused positions, including Commercial Analytics Lead. His work has also included involvement in integration projects, providing experience across the commercial and technical sides of Playson’s operations.
Commercial Functions Move Under Unified Leadership
Playson has given Koshel responsibility for the next stage of its commercial service development as the company brings previously separate areas of its organization closer together.
His background at the supplier covers account strategy and market development, along with analytics and operational execution. That experience will now support a broader remit focused on how Playson works with operators across different regulated markets.

Koshel said his priorities will include developing a commercial service structure that addresses the requirements of operators working in increasingly competitive markets.

Appointment Follows Recent Expansion in Alberta
The leadership change follows several other developments announced by Playson during August.
On August 3, the supplier confirmed that its first titles had gone live in Alberta, extending its Canadian operations into another regulated market. Playson described the launch as another stage of its North American growth and said the province fits its focus on regulated jurisdictions where its games, technology and engagement tools can support operators over the longer term.
The initial release of games represented the start of what the company described as a growing presence in Alberta.
Only a few days later, on August 6, Playson added 4 Supershiny Diamonds: Hold and Win to its portfolio. The diamond-themed slot includes a Super Jackpot worth up to 10,000x and introduces several bonus features built around violet, green and blue Diamonds.
The game offers a standard Hold and Win Bonus Game as well as a Super Bonus Game played on an expanded 5×5 field. Feature mechanics include Multi, Charge and Collect, while a Super Diamond can introduce additional functionality during the Super Bonus Game. Players who fill all 15 cells during the regular Bonus Game receive the 3,000x Grand Jackpot, while filling the 25-cell Super Bonus Game awards the 10,000x Super Jackpot.
An Extra Feature symbol can also activate during either bonus round and transform into one of the colored Diamonds, which can add another feature or strengthen one already active.

Koshel’s appointment gives Playson a dedicated executive responsible for coordinating areas that previously operated through separate commercial leadership structures.
The supplier expects the new arrangement to support clearer communication with operators and stronger coordination around commercial initiatives. Playson also plans to incorporate AI-driven insights and automation into internal processes as part of the service model Koshel will oversee.
With his experience spanning analytics, integrations and market development during almost 11 years at the company, Koshel now takes responsibility for connecting those areas more closely with Playson’s operator-facing commercial activity.
